SIMPLE A1 – Bagging machines for preformed valve bags, suitable for fine and mixed powders.

SIMPLE A1

A high-performance patent.

Its distinctive rugged construction and minimal maintenance requirements, together with its capability for excellent production performances, have made SIMPLE A1 a global success.

Over 1,700 installations on all 5 continents prove that this is the ideal tool for quick, effective bagging operations.

The particular operating principle, derived from a Paglierani patent registered in 1955, involves a vertical turbine that feeds the horizontal bagging auger at a constant rate.
This combined action ensures unbeatable efficiency and minimal dust emissions.

N

Bag vibration with stroke variable from 1 to 8 mm, generated by a special adjustable eccentric mass.

N

Minimisation of dust deposit zones.
The bagging machine is designed in accordance with the strictest hygiene regulations, minimising the zones where dust deposits may accumulate.
The bagging machine is also completed with a hood for extraction of the dust generated during bagging procedures (extractor fan not included).

N

Two-way version right or left-handed, to facilitate system engineering.

N

Bearing protection with dustproofing device consisting of a compressed air pressurisation circuit.

N

Dust extraction connection.

N

Adjustable-height bag saddle designed to enable filling of bags of variable size.

VIBRATING SADDLE

During filling, the bag is supported by a vibrating saddle that compacts the product to reduce the pack size.
The vibration stroke is adjustable.

As an optional, full bags can be ejected automatically via a pneumatically operated swivel movement of the bag saddle.

SYSTEM ENGINEERING

In line with the PAGLIERANI philosophy which aims to design integrated systems for higher production efficiency, SIMPLE A1 bagging machines can be combined with model NE net weight weighing machines.

One or more bagging machines can be installed in-line depending on production requirements (diagram A).

The system is automated through combination with the model FB automatic empty bag feeder (diagram B).

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

VALVE SIZES

STANDARD
The SIMPLE A1 series can be equipped with bagging spouts suitable for valves in the standard sizes 110 mm · 130 mm · 150 mm · 180 mm (with the same valve size).

SPECIAL
Spouts for special valve sizes (other than those listed above) are also available on request.

HOURLY PRODUCTION RATE

The production rate depends on valve size, product type and bag weight.
The graph illustrates the relationships between these parameters.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

DUST EXTRACTION SHIELD

There is a dust extraction inlet mounted on the bagging spout, to collect the dust generated during filling operations.

BAGGING CYCLE AUTOMATIC START DEVICE

  • The bagging cycle is activated automatically as soon as the bag is fitted on the spout.
  • Bag presence sensor device (for connection to automatic empty bag feeder).
  • The sensor disables filling if the bag is not fitted on the bagging spout correctly.

ADJUSTABLE VIBRATION DEVICE

The bag support saddle is vibrated by an eccentric mass.

The vibration stroke can be adjusted to achieve the best results on the basis of the product for bagging.

Optionals

OPTIONALS

SIZE CHANGE
Automatic saddle position adjustment

SADDLE WITH TWO POSITION SETTINGS (PNEUMATIC)

If the system only processes two bags of different heights, saddle height adjustment can be automatic, powered by a pneumatic piston.

Saddle with two position settings (pneumatic)

SADDLE WITH MULTIPLE POSITION SETTINGS (HYDRAULIC)

If the system processes multiple bags (of different heights), the bag saddle can be equipped with a hydraulic cylinder for precise positioning at the height required (automatic saddle position change for the program selected).

TOP IN FRONT TURNING

Applied in case of manual bag feeding (maximum two bagging machines) or with automatic feeder.

In this case the turning device is completed with a pneumatic system which raises and lowers the saddle to enable:

  • correct insertion of the empty bag inside the saddle;
  • perfect opening of the bag bottom.

BOTTOM-IN-FRONT TURNING

Applied in arrangements with three or more bagging machines in line, with manual empty bag feeding.

ULTRASOUND SEALING

SIMPLE A1 series bagging machines can be equipped with bag valve sealing system (A) comprising an ultrasound sealer.
This fully automatic system is installed on the bagging machine and incorporates:

  • the ultrasound sealing hammer (sonotrode) (B);
  • the anvil (against which the sealing hammer acts);
  • the electronic control unit for setting the ultrasound power and duration;
  • the pusher for extracting the full bag and placing it in the sealing/removal zone.
