Founded in 1926 by Fernando Paglierani, pioneer of the Italian entrepreneurs, the company became one of the first leaders on the Italian market and then on the international market.
Our past counts many successes due to continuous research for innovative solutions on both single machines and complete weighing, packing, palletizing and stretch wrapping and hooding lines.
Today, Paglierani is a well-known brand name and highly regarded all over the world.
Growing demand from the international markets led to an expansion of production capacity and the opening of new factories. This was achieved with the creation of a division specializing solely in the construction of metal structures, followed a few years later by the acquisition of a leading company in the palletizing sector.
In the ’80s the company had already become European leader for the supply of complete lines.
In the next decade, the growth trend was maintained: more packaging sector companies were taken over, confirming and extending a cast-iron leadership.

My time’s up!
I joined the company in 1960, when my father-in-law Fernando Paglierani asked me to assist him in running the business… and so the story of Paglierani, founded in 1926, continued;
Paglierani which I have taken care of for no less than 58 years, first with Fernando and then with my sons Alberto and Sergio.
During my time with the company, I have studied every detail of its daily life, what goes on in the offices or production departments, encouraging the positives and working to overcome the negatives.
Always, in even the toughest situations, I have tried to look on the bright side, and find a goal to aim for.
I have combated waste, because my years as a prisoner in the Second World War taught me how to cope with having little.
I have never attacked or made fun of anyone; I have always tried to understand the reasons for people’s behaviour, convinced that once we know ourselves, the road is open to change or improvement.
I have wonderful memories.
I remember all the staff and customers who have helped us to grow our business to its current importance.

Today, Paglierani is a solid business in tune with the requests of the third millenium.
Four manufacturing centres, located in central and northern Italy with a total area of
42.500 m2, provide for the development and construction of technologically advanced
and high performing machinery.
The electronic division of Paglierani (Paglierani Elettronica), is devoted to research and metrological tests and ensures conformity of our equipment to even the most severe international norms.
Paglierani is surely the only business in the whole world able to grant project, manufacture, commissioning, start-up and after-sales services of the machines and of the lines it produces.
