Moreover, and not least, algae do not form on the outer surface since the hooding is made from a single, ironed sheet.

The film remains evenly stretched around the load and fits it like a glove. The pallets are fully finished.
The hood can be transparent or decorated with your logo and can be completely washed if necessary, after being stored in a dusty place or outdoors.

STRETCH HOODING TECHNOLOGY
WORK PHASES
The hooding process involves stretching the flexible protective film and then releasing it at the lower end of the pallet so that its natural elastic properties make it adhere perfectly to the load.
This operation is completely automatic and OMNIVA adapts to the different pallet heights without operator intervention.
In this way the load is protected in total automation.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
PALLET CENTERING DEVICE
A pair of pneumatically controlled centering devices aligns the filled pallet, making it ready to be hooded.
FULL PALLET CENTERING DEVICE WITH MOTORIZED ROLLER CONVEYOR
The motorized roller conveyor for transferring the full pallet is located above the full pallet centering device.
The roller conveyor is driven by a gear motor, while the rollers are driven by a chain.
MOVING CARRIAGE
Its task is to pick up the full and centered pallet and move it to the hooding area, as well as to unload it to the parking area once hooded.
The carriage slides on rails.
The special shape of the roller conveyor ensures total hooding, right under the pallet.
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AND OPERATOR TERMINAL
It is mounted on board the stretch hooding machine, with degree of protection IP 54.
It includes the power section, the inverters, and the PLC control.
A control unit with touch controls guarantees the human/machine interface.
The electrical panel is completely mounted on board with a pivoting linkage for shipping.
REEL HOLDER
Easy access for the hooding reel replenishment.
The reel attachment is simple, using two simple hand-operated rings, without the need for tools.
FILM UNWINDING DEVICE
The film unwinding device is an essential device:
- it unwinds the film from the reel in a uniform and controlled manner;
- it accurately measures the amount of film needed to cover the pallet, ensuring optimal material consumption;
- it cuts the film to the desired length to form the hood,
- it closes (welds) the film at the top, creating a hood that will compactly and protectively wrap the load.
Access is secured by a walkable platform reachable by a ladder.
All in accordance with safety standards.
FILM TENSIONING ARMS
The four arms grip the film, which has been cut and sealed at the top.
The film is then curled downwards, forming a hood ready to be laid out on the pallet.
The tensioning force is adjusted via the touch screen control panel, allowing a precise application, tailored to the size of the load.
The film is pulled and stretched in a controlled manner to ensure stability and adherence to the pallet.
